What you need

  • Google account + Gemini API key (free tier works)
  • Gemini CLI installed locally
  • Terminal access (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Optional: Obsidian if you prefer a visual vault

Quick steps

  1. Clone CodeBrain-Starter from GitHub and open the vault.
  2. Install the Gemini CLI and authenticate with your API key.
  3. Run the provided commands (summary, rewrite, capture) on the sample notes.
  4. Swap the examples with your real clients, rename folders, and tweak prompts until the workflow mirrors how you work.

First prompt to try

Run gemini summary 0-Inbox/sample-call.md and ask the CLI to extract next steps. Then drop your own meeting note in the inbox and do it again.

Make it yours

Use the empty Templates/ folder for personal prompts, adjust the dashboards, and wire it into your existing tools. The starter vault is meant to be remixed—ship your version, then share what worked.

When to go Pro

Upgrade when you want automation and leverage: persona-adapted prompt packs, MCP-based workflows, reporting dashboards, guided onboarding, and the community that keeps shipping improvements. Keep the starter as your sandbox—move to the Pro Kit when it is time to hand more work to your AI teammate.
